Biography

Kimberly is new to Ohio.  She began her career as a law clerk for Justice Phil Johnson on the 7th District Court of Appeals of Texas as a briefing attorney for civil and criminal cases.  After completing her clerkship, she began doing civil defense litigation involving representation of large trucking companies in catastrophic loss and employment matters.   Her focus then moved to defense of medical malpractice and legal malpractice along with construction defect.  After years of being in private practice, she went in house counsel first for Liberty Mutual and subsequently State Farm, where she represented insureds in various types of litigation such as personal injury, Worker’s Compensation, premises liability, fire, and also some first-party claims.   Kimberly has extensive trial experience and has tried over 20 jury trials.
