Biography
Genevieve is an attorney in the Columbus office. After beginning her career with Freund Freeze & Arnold, Genevieve spent five years with the Industrial Commission of Ohio, the adjudicative arm of Ohio’s workers’ compensation system. During this time, Genevieve also served as an adjunct professor at Capital University Law School, teaching workers’ compensation to second and third-year law students. Genevieve then returned to Freund, Freeze & Arnold and focuses her practice on employment defense, education, insurance, and premises liability.
Genevieve is also actively involved in the community. Genevieve supports the Ohio State Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ohio State Bar Association, as a Class Fellow, and is on the board of trustees for Columbus Collegiate Academy (Main) and Leadership Upper Arlington.
In her free time, Genevieve enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and two young children. Genevieve and her husband actively support The Ohio State University’s cancer research efforts through Pelotonia, an annual cycling and fundraising initiative. The Hoffmans are avid Buckeye football fans.
