Biography

Bob has specialized in civil trial practice since joining Freund, Freeze & Arnold in 1986. He has defended cases in multiple areas of the law including, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, professional liability, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and employment law, among others. Bob has successfully defended doctors and hospitals in multiple jury trials.

Bob has also defended professionals in investigations by Ohio licensing boards. He has also lectured on risk management to doctors for professional liability insurers in southwest Ohio. He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Herman J. Weber, United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio (1985-86) and the Honorable Robert Brown, Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas (1983-85).

Bob is Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated. He is also listed in Best Lawyers in America 2019 and 2020. Bob served on the Board of Trustees of the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton from 1997-2001.
