The transportation lawyers at Freund, Freeze & Arnold have extensive experience defending trucking companies, self-insured transportation firms, transportation insurers and their insureds in every conceivable type of litigation. Our firm handles all aspects of transportation law, including accident investigation, administrative hearings, tort defense, intentional tort claim defense, freight claims, and the defense of criminal and traffic matters.

The attorneys in the Transportation Practice Group have tried cases in all levels of state and federal courts in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Freund, Freeze lawyers have represented motor carriers and shippers in cargo claims and Carmack Amendment suits. Our lawyers have also represented trucking companies in regulatory matters such as challenging reporting requirements for the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Additionally, our attorneys also routinely assist truck drivers in the defense of traffic citations for drivers.

Our lawyers have enjoyed great success in the defense of their motor carrier clients. One of the most significant Ohio cases involving statutory employment as announced in Wyckoff v. Marsh Bros. Trucking Service, Inc., (1991), 58 Ohio St.3d 261; 561 N.E.2d 1049, was successfully argued by Gordon Arnold.
