Freund, Freeze & Arnold, A Legal Professional Association, a Dayton, Ohio-based law firm, is pleased to announce that nine of its attorneys have been named as 2009 Rising Stars. In addition to the nine attorneys named in Rising Stars, many of the firm’s attorneys have earned professional distinction and the accolades of their peers.
Those attorneys from the firm’s Dayton, Ohio office include:
Kevin Connell – Kevin was the 2008 Recipient of "40 under 40" award from Dayton Business Journal, and was named as Volunteer of the Quarter, 2008, by the Dayton Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Connell was named as one of the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2005 through 2008.
Mr. Connell is also a member of the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations as well as the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, Defense Research Institute, Ohio Transportation Lawyers Association, the Ohio Trucking Association and the Ohio Trucking Safety Council. Kevin served as Chair of the Insurance Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association from 2002 to 2004.

He currently serves as Treasurer of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. In 2003, Kevin was selected as a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.
T. Andrew Vollmar – Mr. Vollmar is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars regarding trial practice. Andy was named as one of the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars for the years 2005 through 2008. Andy published an article on workplace intentional torts, entitled “Intentional Tort Update” in the OACTA quarterly publication. He also presently serves as the Secretary for the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Board of Trustees.
Mr. Vollmar is also a member of the Dayton, Butler County and Ohio State Bar Associations as well as the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. He is also a member of the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful board. MORE
