ATTORNEY BIO - T. Andrew Vollmar

Notable Experience
Andy is a civil litigation attorney who has tried numerous civil cases to juries in courts throughout Southwest Ohio. He also has extensive experience with mediations and arbitrations. Andy has defended and prosecuted various types of insurance coverage cases. One example is Wohl v. Swinney, 2007-Ohio-3699, 114 Ohio St.3d 1484, 870 N.E.2d 735 (Ohio 2007). Andy chairs the firm's intentional tort practice group, which handles work place intentional tort claims, defamation claims, emotional distress claims and assault and battery claims. Andy also has trial experience defending a public figure defamation case. Robb v. Lincoln Publishing (Ohio), Inc. (1996), 114 Ohio.App.3d 595, 616, 683 N.E.2d 823.

Andy has played a very active role at Bishop Fenwick High School over the years in various capacities including varsity soccer coach from 2002-11, the school's principal's advisory board in 2010-11, and its mock trial coach during 2008-11. He is also a member of the board of Keep Montgomery County Beautiful (2008-11). Andy's athletic and related leadership involvement extends to Centerville Recreational Soccer as its coach.

He took a secretarial position at the University of Dayton Law School Alumni Board from 2004 to 2008. Andy has also been a member of the MCC All Academic Team.

In addition, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife, an attorney, and their family.
