Michelle has successfully tried jury trials in Ohio and Indiana including personal injury cases, product liability defense, and commercial litigation. She has also argued and won appeals in several Ohio Appellate Districts. From 2009 through 2011, Michelle was named Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star, a list jointly prepared by Law and Politics Magazine and Cincinnati Magazine.
Before joining the firm, Michelle worked as an intellectual property attorney, practicing in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law. She carried that experience forward, where she has handled intellectual property related matters, particularly as they involve insurance coverage. Her biotechnology background has also assisted her in the handling of medical malpractice cases.
Michelle is a member of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation, Gift of Health Committee and active in the Notre Dame Academy Alumnae group. She also regularly participates in the Susan B. Kohmen Race for the Cure activities.
Michelle is married with a daughter and a son. In her free time, Michelle enjoys sports of all sorts (particularly UK basketball), singing, reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.
