Shannon's practice primarily focuses on commercial and business litigation, medical malpractice defense, legal malpractice defense, and employment litigation. She has represented numerous clients in a wide variety of complicated civil cases.
Shannon is an active member of the Dayton Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division, where she serves as vice-chair of the social committee.
She is also a member of the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery Associate Board, a group dedicated to fundraising for the museum. Shannon is a member of the Culture Works Associate Board and Generation Dayton, a Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce program focusing on young professionals living and working in the Dayton area. She is a participant of Montgomery County's START program, providing voluntary assistance to female inmates at the Montgomery County jail.
